Talented Dominican Rep. Luismal Ferreiras (200-PF-2003) had an amazing evening in the last round for Santos de San Luis Potosi and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents LNBP Player of the Week award for round 26.
The 22-year old power forward had a double-double of 19 points and 23 rebounds, while his team beat Freseros (#14, 4-22) 78-71. The game was not the highest importance and did not have significant influence on top of the standings. Santos maintains the 12th position in Mexican LNBP. The season is in a full swing, so it's only a dream for the team to make it into top half of the standings. For contrary they may face relegation if the situation turns from bad to worse. Santos have already lost 20 games and recorded just six victories. It was one of impressive evenings for Ferreiras as usually he does not deliver so high stats. Ferreiras has impressive league stats. He leads league in rebounds with 11.2rpg. Ferreiras is in league's top in and averages solid 52.0% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young American power forward Justin Moss (203-F/C-1993) of league's best team Soles de Mexicali. Moss impressed basketball fans with 28 points and 6 rebounds. Of course he led Soles to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Abejas (#13, 5-21) 118-86. Of course Soles still keep the league's top spot. His team lost just three games this season, while they won 23 matches. Moss is a newcomer at Soles and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.

The third best performed player last round was another Soles' star - American Connor Zinaich (201-F-1997). Zinaich showcased his all-around game by recording 12 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists in the last round. He was another key player of Soles de Mexicali, helping his team with a 118-86 easy win against the lower-ranked Abejas (#13, 5-21). Soles confirms their top position in the standings. Zinaich has a great season in Mexico. After 25 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 7.6rpg (6th best). He also has 1.3bpg and a FGP of 64.7%.
