Daviyon Draper (ex Olimpia K.) agreed terms with Obera

Daviyon Draper

Obera Tennis Club (La Liga) strengthened their roster with the addition of 31-year-old USA-Mexican 200cm forward Daviyon Draper (college: FIU) for the 2025-26 season. He was the top scorer at Olimpia Kings in the Paraguayan LNB league last season, where in 16 games he recorded impressive stats: 18.9ppg, 5.4rpg, and 1.4apg. He helped them win the league title and was awarded Latinbasket.com All-Paraguayan LNB Apertura Forward of the Year. Draper was also voted to the All-Defensive Team and selected to the All-Imports Team. Last season, he played at Hebraica Macabi Montevideo (LUB) in the Uruguayan league.
He is a very experienced player. Thanks to his pro career, he managed to play on four different continents (Europe, Latin America, Africa, and North America) in nine different countries. He has played professionally in Brazil (Paschoalotto/Bauru and Cerrado), Greece (Ifaistos), Holland (ZZ Leiden), Mexico (Lenadores, Dorados, and Caballeros de Culiacan), Morocco (AS Sale), Paraguay, Uruguay, Argentina (Atenas and Estudiantes Concordia), and Dominican Republic (Marineros).
Draper graduated from Florida International University in 2016 and it will be his tenth season in pro basketball. He played also for Antelope Valley College for 2 years.
