Diablos made 20-of-24 free shots (83.3 percent) during the game. Strangely Astros outrebounded Diablos 45-32 including a 18-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. Diablos looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Venezuelan forward Michael Carrera (196-1993, college: S.Carolina, agency: BIG) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 26 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists. Senegalese-American center Malik Dime (206-1992, college: Washington, agency: Slash Sports) contributed with 14 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. American forward Bryan Jefferson (201-1994, college: Mary) answered with 10 points and 9 rebounds and Dominican Rigoberto Mendoza (191-1992) added 10 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Astros. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.

Fuerza Regia outrebounded Panteras 41-22 including 26 on the defensive glass. Fuerza Regia looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. It was a very good performance for American forward Lewis Sullivan (201-1995, college: UAB, agency: BIG) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and 6 rebounds (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field). His fellow American import Shannon Shorter (193-1989, college: N.Texas) contributed with 16 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Five Fuerza Regia players scored in double figures. Argentinian-American Erik Thomas (195-1995, college: New Orleans) answered with 22 points and 4 steals and American point guard Vinnie Shahid (180-1998, college: NDSU) added 17 points in the effort for Panteras. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.
