LNBP Round 3 of Semi-Finals. Diablos and Panteras celebrate victories

Diablos - Astros 84-82

It was a good game for American guard Michael Smith (193-1995, college: CBU) who led his team to a victory with 28 points (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field). Venezuelan forward Michael Carrera (196-1993, college: S.Carolina, agency: BIG) contributed with 16 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. American point guard DJ Cooper (183-1990, college: Ohio) answered with 23 points and 6 assists and Dominican Rigoberto Mendoza (191-1992) added 15 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Astros. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.

Panteras - Fuerza Regia 96-82

It was a great evening for American point guard Jaron Martin (178-1995, college: UC Irvine) who led his team to a victory scoring 18 points and 4 assists. Argentinian-American Erik Thomas (195-1995, college: New Orleans) helped adding 12 points and 9 rebounds. The best for the losing side was the former international center Joshua Ibarra (211-1995, college: HCU) with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 15 rebounds and American guard Avry Holmes (185-1994, college: Clemson) scored 9 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists. Five Panteras and four Fuerza Regia players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
