Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Michael Smith (193-1995, college: CBU) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 4 assists. Venezuelan forward Michael Carrera (196-1993, college: S.Carolina, agency: BIG) contributed with 20 points for the winners. Four Diablos players scored in double figures. The former international center Joshua Ibarra (211-1995, college: HCU) replied with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds and Kosovan-American Scott Bamforth (188-1989, college: Weber St.) added 14 points in the effort for Fuerza Regia. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
