LMBPF Round 1 (Regular Season): Mieleras beat Dragonas in the most crucial game of the week

The Regular Season in LMBPF just started. Coincidentally all visitors won their games. Here is the last round review presented by LBM Management.

An exciting game was played in Toluca. Mieleras faced Dragonas. Guests from Guanajuato smashed host Dragonas 68-41. Mieleras held Dragonas to an opponent 24.1 percent shooting from the field compared to 36.8 percent accuracy of the winners. They outrebounded Dragonas 45-34 including 16 on the offensive glass. The former international point guard Paola Beltran (164-1994) fired 11 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Angelica Vicente chipped in 6 points and 6 rebounds. Paola Velazquez produced 9 points and 8 rebounds for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Mieleras will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Dragonas will play at home against Toritas and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Estrellas will meet at home Mineras in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Toritas will play against Dragonas in Toluca and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

In the last game of round 1 Estrellas crushed Toritas in Puebla 79-46.
