Basketball Club Batumi (Superleague) signed 23-year-old American 208cm cente Carson Basham (college: NAU). He began the season at Beroe in the Bulgarian NBL league. In 5 games, he averaged 6.6ppg, 5.0rpg, 2.4apg, 1.2spg, and 2.0bpg. During the last summer season, he played for Santos (LNBP) in the Mexican league.
He has traveled extensively during his professional career, playing for teams in Europe, Latin America, and North America. Basham previously played for the Georgian team Tbilisi State Universitynty.
Among many awards, he played in the final of the Georgian League in 2025. He was voted to the Big Sky Conference All-Defensive Team in 2024 during his college time.
Basham graduated from Northern Arizona University in 2024 and is currently in his second season in pro basketball. He also played for Pepperdine University for 2 years.
