Vallejo's double-double lands her Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

Yesica Vallejo put on an amazing game in the last round for Toritas and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 2.
She had a double-double of 20 points and 11 rebounds, while her team edged out Dragonas (1-3) 84-82. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Toritas is placed at 4th position in Mexican LMBPF. Too late to salvage the team, which is currently ranked such low. They already lost 3 games and recorded just one victory. Vallejo turned to be Toritas' top player in her first season with the team. Vallejo has impressive league stats. She is in league's top in points (2nd best: 14.3ppg), rebounds (7th best: 8.3rpg), assists (8th best: 2.3apg) and averages solid 58.5% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Ana Sanchez. She is a in her first season at Toritas. In the last game Sanchez recorded an impressive 24 points, 9 rebounds and 2 assists. Bad luck as Toritas lost that game 76-81 to Dragonas (1-3). The season is still at the very beginning and this lost game may not be such crucial, of course if they start win the games. Let's wait for the next round. Sanchez is one of the most experienced players at Toritas and similarly like Yesica Vallejo has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 13.8ppg (#5). She also registered 6.8 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to Paola Velazquez of Dragonas (#3). Velazquez scored 24 points and passed 5 assists. Despite Velazquez's great performance the Dragonas lost 82-84 to #4 ranked Toritas. But her team cannot count on just a single player as she also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. Dragonas can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league.
