Jones number one in Mexican LBE for round 1

Forward Tyrone Jones (193-F) had an amazing evening in the last round for Faraones de Nuevo Casas Grandes, receiving a Hoops Agents LBE Player of the Week award for round 1.
The player tried to help (39 points, seven rebounds) his team in a lost game to Indios (#3, 2-2) 103-105. Faraones maintains the 5th position in Mexican LBE. Too late to salvage the team, which is currently ranked such low. They already lost 4 games and recorded just one victory. In the team's last game Jones had a remarkable 80.0% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Faraones, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Tyrone Jones has solid league stats. He is in league's top in points (2nd best: 26.4ppg) and averages impressive 60.0% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was American Alexander Johnson of Mineros de Parral. Johnson had a very good evening with a double-double of 22 points and 10 rebounds. Bad luck as Mineros lost that game 109-115 to Soles (2-2). The season is still at the very beginning and this lost game may not be such crucial, of course if they start win the games. Let's wait for the next round. Johnson is a newcomer at Mineros, but is already one of team's top players.

Third on the list of top players last round was another Faraones' star - American Xavier White (203-SF). White got into 30-points club by scoring 31 points in the last round. He went also for nine rebounds . Despite White's great performance the Faraones de Nuevo Casas Grandes lost 94-114 to Apaches (#2, 4-2). But his team cannot count on just these two top stars as they also need help of the other teammates. Faraones can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 1-4 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. White has individually a great season in Mexico. After only 5 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 30.4ppg (best scorer) and rebounds with 8.0rpg (5th best).
