Best players of Mexican LBE round 5

American Xavier White (203-SF) had a very impressive game in the last round for Faraones de Nuevo Casas Grandes and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents LBE Player of the Week award for round 5.
The had a double-double of 40 points and 11 rebounds, while his team lost the game against Mineros (#5, 3-7) 102-109. Faraones maintains the 6th position in Mexican LBE. The season is in a full swing, so it's only a dream for the team to make it into top half of the standings. For contrary they may face relegation if the situation turns from bad to worse. Faraones have already lost 9 games and recorded just one victory. In the team's last game White had a remarkable 59.1% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Faraones, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Midland College graduate has very impressive stats this year. White is league's best scorer averaging so far 26.8ppg. White is in league's top in rebounds (5th best: 9.1rpg) and averages solid 56.8% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young American swingman Ajang Aguek (201-G/F-2000) of Mineros de Parral. Aguek impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 18 points and 17 rebounds. Of course Mineros cruised to a 109-102 relatively comfortable win over slightly lower-ranked Faraones (#6, 1-9). Mineros' 5th position in the standings has not changed. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 3-7 record. Aguek is one of the most experienced players at Mineros and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was American Riley Brahin (211-C) of second-ranked Apaches de Chihuahua. Brahin scored 25 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. He was a key player of Apaches, leading his team to a 135-85 easy win against the lower-ranked Mineros (#5, 3-7). Apaches needs these victories very badly if they think about taking over top position in the standings. Their record at this point is 7 victories and 3 lost games. Brahin has a very solid season. In 10 games in Mexico he scored 10.0ppg. He also has 5.6rpg, 1.2bpg and a FGP of 68.3%.
