36-year old Panamanian shooting guard Daniel Giron-Villarreal (192-SG-1989) had an amazing evening in the last round for Soles de Ojinaga and receives a Hoops Agents LBE Player of the Week award for round 6.
He had the game-high 17 points adding nine rebounds and six assists for Soles in his team's victory, helping them to outclass Faraones (#6, 1-11) with 28-point margin 109-81. Soles maintains the 3rd position in Mexican LBE. Soles is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 6-5 record. In the team's last game Giron-Villarreal had a remarkable 88.9% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Soles, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Daniel Giron-Villarreal averages this season 12.3ppg.

Second best performed player last round was Xavier White (203-SF) of Faraones de Nuevo Casas Grandes. He is American in his first season at Faraones. In the last game White recorded an impressive 36 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists. Bad luck as Faraones lost that game 113-119 to slightly higher-ranked Indios (#4, 5-6). Faraones are still at the very bottom. 11 lost games are too many comparing to just one victory Faraones managed to get this year. White is one of the most experienced players at Faraones and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 26.7ppg (#1). He also registered 8.8 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to another Faraones' star - guard Osmar Garcia-Arias (181-PG-1996). Garcia-Arias got into 30-points club by scoring exactly 30 points in the last round. He went also for seven rebounds and seven assists. Despite Garcia-Arias' great performance the Faraones de Nuevo Casas Grandes lost 113-119 to slightly higher-ranked Indios (#4, 5-6). But his team cannot count on just these two top stars as they also need help of the other teammates. Faraones can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have extremely bad season and 1-11 record places them at the very bottom of the standings. Garcia-Arias has a very solid season. In 12 games in Mexico he scored 14.3ppg. He also has 4.8rpg and a FGP of 58.0%.
