Antillon number one in Mexico LMBPF for round 6 (by Hoops Agents)

International Point guard Dana Antillon (167-PG-1997) had an amazing evening in the last round for second-ranked Mineras, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 6.
The 28-year old player was the main contributor (20 points, six rebounds and four assists) to her team's victory, helping them to beat Dragonas (#4, 1-7) 81-76. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Mineras maintains the 2nd position in Mexican LMBPF. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Mineras will need more victories to improve their 7-3 record. In the team's last game Antillon had a remarkable 60.0% from 2-point range. She just recently signed at Mineras, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Dana Antillon has solid league stats. She is in league's top in points (2nd best: 13.3ppg).

The second best player in last round's games was Yesica Vallejo of Toritas. Vallejo had a very good evening with a double-double of 15 points and 13 rebounds. Bad luck as Toritas lost that game 57-76 to the higher-ranked Mieleras (#1, 7-1). Toritas are still at the very bottom. 9 lost games are too many comparing to just one victory Toritas managed to get this year. Vallejo is a newcomer at Toritas, but is already one of team's top players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 12.5ppg (#4). She also registered 10.7 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was Cuban center Yayma Boulet (193-C-1984) of Dragonas (#4). Boulet scored 21 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. Despite Boulet's great performance the Dragonas lost 76-81 to #2 ranked Mineras. But her team cannot count on just a single player as she also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. Dragonas can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 1-7 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Boulet has a very solid season. In 2 games in Mexico she scored 14.5ppg.
