36-year old American forward Jordan Glynn (200-F-1989) had a very impressive game in the last round for Toros Laguna and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 5.
He had the game-high 28 points adding eight rebounds and two assists for Toros in his team's victory, helping them to beat Obregon (#1, 7-3) 100-95. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Thanks to this victory Toros moved-up to the 4th position in Mexican league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Toros will need more victories to improve their 6-4 record. In the team's last game Glynn had a remarkable five three-pointers out of 7 attempts. He just recently signed at Toros, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Stephen F. Austin State University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Glynn is in league's top in points (5th best: 18.7ppg), rebounds (4th best: 8.4rpg) and averages solid 67.9% FGP and 45.7% from behind 3-point line.

Second best performed player last round was Trey Burke (183-PG-1992) of league's second-best Astros de Jalisco. He is American guard in his first season at Astros. In the last game Burke recorded an impressive 32 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists. Of course Astros cruised to a 90-83 relatively comfortable win over slightly lower-ranked Tijuana (#3, 6-4). It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Astros consolidated its place in top 2 of the standings. A very good start of the season for his team, which won so far all 6 games without any defeat. Burke is one of the most experienced players at Astros and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to center Arnett Moultrie (208-C-1990) of Pioneros de Los Mochis (#9). Moultrie scored 23 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. He was a key player of Pioneros Los Mochis, leading his team to a 104-87 easy win against the higher-ranked Mazatlan (#6, 4-6). The chances of Los Mochis not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 5 games, recording just three victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Moultrie could try to bring Los Mochis' a little bit higher in the standings. Moultrie has individually a great season in Mexico. After only 7 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 19.0ppg (3rd best) and rebounds with 9.6rpg (3rd best).
