Pearson number one in Mexico CIBACOPA for round 7 (by Hoops Agents)

American Forward Ryan Pearson (198-F-1990, agency: Inception Sports) put on an amazing game in the last round for Pioneros de Los Mochis, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 7.
The 35-year old player was the main contributor (25 points, five rebounds) to his team's victory, helping them to beat Tijuana (#3, 7-5) 103-93. Thanks to this victory Pioneros Los Mochis moved-up to the 8th position in Mexican CIBACOPA. Los Mochis is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 4-6 record. In the team's last game Pearson had a remarkable 75.0% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Pioneros Los Mochis, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Ryan Pearson averages this season 9.8ppg.

The second best player in last round's games was young American Roddy Peters (193-PG-1995) of Caballeros de Culiacan. Peters had a very good evening with a double-double of 24 points and 11 assists. Bad luck as Caballeros de Culiacan lost that game 98-107 to slightly higher-ranked Los Mochis (#8, 4-6). Despite lost game Culiacan moved up to 10th position in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 3-7 record. Peters is one of the most experienced players at Culiacan and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third on the list of top players last round was another Los Mochis' star - American center Arnett Moultrie (208-C-1990). Moultrie scored 19 points and grabbed 11 rebounds (!!!). He was another key player of Pioneros de Los Mochis, helping his team with a 103-93 win against the higher-ranked Tijuana (#3, 7-5). The chances of Pioneros Los Mochis ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 6 games, recording just four victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Moultrie could help Los Mochis to bring them higher in the standings. Moultrie has a great season in Mexico. After only 8 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 19.0ppg (4th best) and rebounds with 9.8rpg (3rd best).
