Farmer's 34-point game gives him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

31-year old American forward Tony Farmer (201-F-1994) had a great game in the last round for league's best team Halcones de Ciudad Obregon and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 9.
He had the game-high 34 points adding eight rebounds for Obregon in his team's victory, helping them to edge out Culiacan (#11, 3-9) 103-101. It allowed Halcones de Ciudad Obregon to consolidate first place in the Mexican league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Obregon has a very solid 9-3 record, but they cannot be too comfortable about keeping top position. In the team's last game Farmer had a remarkable 75.0% from 2-point range and got five three-pointers out of 8 attempts. He just recently signed at Halcones de Ciudad Obregon, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Lee College graduate has very impressive stats this year. Farmer is league's best scorer averaging so far 20.8ppg. Farmer is in league's top in rebounds (8th best: 6.8rpg) and averages solid 60.6% FGP and 40.9% from behind 3-point line.

Second best performed player last round was Jaden House (193-G). He is American guard in his first season at Obregon. In the last game House recorded an impressive 22 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists. Of course together with Farmer he helped Halcones de Ciudad Obregon with another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Culiacan (#11, 3-9) 108-82. Of course Halcones de Ciudad Obregon still keep the league's top spot. His team has currently 9-3 record. House is one of the most experienced players at Halcones de Ciudad Obregon and similarly like Tony Farmer has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 17.8ppg (#6). He also registered 4.7 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Roddy Peters (193-PG-1995) of Caballeros de Culiacan (#11). Peters scored 18 points and passed 9 assists. Despite Peters' great performance the Caballeros de Culiacan lost 101-103 to the higher-ranked Obregon (#1, 9-3). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. Culiacan can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have extremely bad season and 3-9 record places them at the very bottom of the standings. Peters has individually a great season in Mexico. After 12 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in assists with 7.4apg (2nd best).
