The game in Celaya was quite interesting. Fourth ranked Dragonas (3-8) played at the court of 5th ranked Toritas (1-12). Dragonas defeated Toritas 79-67 on Saturday. Dragonas forced 22 Toritas turnovers. Cuban center Yayma Boulet (193-1984) fired 23 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. The former international power forward Rosaura Guardiola (180-1991, agency: Daggers Sports) chipped in 16 points and 12 rebounds. Stephanie Lopez produced 18 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Dragonas maintains fourth place with 3-8 record. Toritas lost ninth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 12 games lost. Dragonas are looking forward to face league's leader Mieleras in Guanajuato in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
