Boulet's 36-point game gives her Player of the Week award

41-year old Cuban center Yayma Boulet (193-C-1984) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Dragonas and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 8.
She had the game-high 36 points adding eight rebounds for Dragonas as her team was edged out by Mieleras (#1, 10-2) 74-72. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Dragonas maintains the 4th position in Mexican LMBPF. Too late to salvage the team, which is currently ranked such low. They already lost 9 games and recorded just three victories. Boulet just recently signed at Dragonas, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Yayma Boulet averages this season 23.2ppg and 8.8rpg.

Second best performed player last round was Adriana Chavez (170-G) of league's second-best Mineras. She is American guard in her first season at Mineras. In the last game Chavez recorded an impressive double-double of 24 points and 15 rebounds. Of course Mineras cruised to a 79-70 relatively comfortable win over slightly higher-ranked Mieleras (#1, 10-2). It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Mineras consolidated its place in top 2 of the standings. Her team's 10-4 record is not bad at all. Chavez is one of the most experienced players at Mineras and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 12.0ppg (#6). She also registered 7.5 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Paola Beltran (164-PG-1994) of league's leader Mieleras de Guanajuato. Beltran showcased her all-around game by recording 17 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists in the last round. She was a key player of Mieleras, leading her team to a 62-59 win against #4 ranked Dragonas. Mieleras confirms their top position in the standings. Beltran has a great season in Mexico. After 11 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 11.9ppg (7th best) and assists with 3.4apg (3rd best).
