Moultrie's 35-point game gives him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

35-year old American center Arnett Moultrie (208-C-1990) put on an amazing game in the last round for Pioneros de Los Mochis and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 12.
He had the game-high 35 points adding eight rebounds for Los Mochis in his team's victory, helping them to beat Guaymas (#10, 6-11) 95-89. Thanks to this victory Pioneros Los Mochis moved-up to the 7th position in Mexican league. Los Mochis is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 8-8 record. In the team's last game Moultrie had a remarkable 83.3% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Pioneros Los Mochis, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Mississippi State University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Moultrie is league's best scorer averaging so far 19.0ppg. Moultrie is in league's top in rebounds (4th best: 8.3rpg) and averages solid 64.2% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Jay Pal (206-F-2000, agency: JCK Sports Group) of Frayles de Guasave. He is American-South Sudanese forward in his first season at Frayles. Third place about best performers goes to another Frayles' star - guard Sa'eed Nelson (188-PG-1998). Nelson showcased his all-around game by recording 23 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists in the last round. He was another key player of Frayles de Guasave, helping his team with a 114-92 easy win against slightly higher-ranked Obregon (#3, 10-6). Frayles de Guasave needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 9 victories and 7 lost games. Nelson has a great season in Mexico. After 14 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 17.0ppg (8th best).
