Davis-McMurrin number one in Mexico CIBACOPA for round 13 (by Hoops Agents)

American Guard Gage Davis-McMurrin (195-G-1995) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Ostioneros de Guaymas, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 13.
The 30-year old player was the main contributor (30 points, four rebounds and two assists) to his team's victory, helping them to edge out Mazatlan (#11, 4-14) 88-84. Ostioneros de Guaymas is placed at 8th position in Mexican CIBACOPA. Guaymas is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 7-11 record. In the team's last game Davis-McMurrin had a remarkable 80.0% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Ostioneros de Guaymas, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Gage Davis-McMurrin averages this season 18.8ppg and 6.4rpg.

The second best player in last round's games was young American Jordan Glynn (200-F-1989) of Toros Laguna. Glynn had a very good evening with a double-double of 27 points and 12 rebounds. Bad luck as Toros was edged by slightly higher-ranked Angeles (#4, 10-8) 87-84. This loss caused Toros to drop to 6th position in the standings. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 9-9 record is not bad and everything may still change. Glynn is one of the most experienced players at Toros and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 17.8ppg (#5). He also registered 8.9 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was another Guaymas' star - Canadian center Jaden Bediako (208-C-2000). Bediako scored 14 points and grabbed 13 rebounds (!!!). He was another key player of Ostioneros de Guaymas, helping his team with a 88-84 win against the lower-ranked Mazatlan (#11, 4-14). The chances of Ostioneros de Guaymas not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 11 games, recording just seven victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Bediako could try to bring Guaymas' a little bit higher in the standings. Bediako has individually a great season in Mexico. After 18 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 6.7rpg (8th best). He also has 1.7bpg and a FGP of 55.8%.
