Apaches forced 24 Dorados turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. 30 personal fouls committed by Dorados helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Americans were the main players on the court. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Jimond Ivey (196-1996, college: Akron) who helped to win the game recording 26 points, 6 rebounds, 7 assists and 5 steals and guard Daniel Bejarano (193-1991, college: Colorado St.) who added 19 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists during the contest. At the losing side power forward Charles Mitchell (203-1993, college: Georgia Tech) responded with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 22 rebounds and point guard Jaron Martin (178-1995, college: UC Irvine) scored 32 points and 6 assists. Five Apaches and four Dorados players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
