Experienced American Justin Moss (203-F/C-1993) had a great game in the last round for Halcones de Ciudad Obregon and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 14.
The 32-year old power forward had a double-double of 36 points and 12 rebounds, while his team crushed Mazatlan (#11, 4-16) with 17-point margin 107-90. Halcones de Ciudad Obregon maintains the 3rd position in Mexican CIBACOPA. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Obregon will need more victories to improve their 12-6 record. In the team's last game Moss had a remarkable 92.9% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Halcones de Ciudad Obregon, being already a very valuable addition to the team. The University of Buffalo graduate has very impressive stats this year. Moss is in league's top in points (6th best: 18.1ppg) and averages solid 57.9% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young American guard Shane Rector (188-G-1994) of second-ranked Zonkeys de Tijuana. Rector impressed basketball fans with 34 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists. Of course he led Tijuana Zonkeys to another comfortable win outscoring slightly lower-ranked Angeles (#4, 10-10) 111-87. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Tijuana consolidated its place in top 2 of the standings. His team's 14-8 record is not bad at all. Rector is one of the most experienced players at Tijuana and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was American Romeao Ferguson (196-G-1997) of Rayos de Hermosillo (#8). Ferguson showcased his all-around game by recording 28 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists in the last round. He was a key player of Rayos de Hermosillo, leading his team to a 103-95 win against Guaymas (8-12). The chances of Hermosillo ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 12 games, recording just eight victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Ferguson could help Hermosillo to bring them higher in the standings. Ferguson has a very solid season. In 19 games in Mexico he scored 15.5ppg. He also has 4.9rpg and 3.1apg.
