American point guard Roddy Peters (193-PG-1995, college: Nicholls) was tied for the best scorer of the day in the world yesterday with the 37 points he had in the Mexican league. Peters graduated from Nicholls State University in 2018. His excellent performance made his team the Caballeros de Culiacan beat the Venados 110 to 103. He also added 5 rebounds, 12 assists and 3 steals that evening. Among many awards he won the NBA G League championship title in 2023. He was selected to the Eurobasket Adriatic League 2 Third Team as well as the All Imports Team back in 2021.
