The game between third ranked Frayles de Guasave (17-13) and tenth ranked Caballeros de Culiacan (11-19) was the most important one in the last round on Tuesday night. Frayles de Guasave was defeated by Caballeros de Culiacan in Culiacan 96-80. Culiacan dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Frayles de Guasave' 40. Culiacan looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. It was a great evening for American point guard Roddy Peters (193-1995, college: Nicholls) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 assists. Everything could happen in Ciudad de Mexico at the game between two tied teams. Both fifth ranked Angeles and 4th placed Tijuana Zonkeys had identical 16-13 record. This time Angeles used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Tijuana 94-85 on Tuesday night.
