Best players of Mexican LNBPF round 7 (by Hoops Agents)

Experienced American Shae Kelley (185-F-1991) put on an amazing game in the last round for El Calor and that's her to receive a Hoops Agents LNBPF Player of the Week award for round 7.
The 34-year old forward had the game-high 23 points adding nine rebounds and seven assists for El Calor in her team's victory, helping them to beat Panteras (#1, 13-1) 93-83. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. El Calor maintains the 4th position in Mexican LNBPF. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. El Calor will need more victories to improve their 8-6 record. In the team's last game Kelley had a remarkable 100.0% from 2-point range. She just recently signed at El Calor, being already a very valuable addition to the team. University of Minnesota graduate has very impressive stats this year. Kelley is in league's top in rebounds (5th best: 6.8rpg).

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young American guard Talia von Oelhoffen (180-G-2002, agency: Next Page Sports) of Freseras Irapuato. von Oelhoffen impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 29 points and 12 rebounds. Of course Freseras cruised to a 84-77 relatively comfortable win over slightly lower-ranked Correcaminos (#7, 3-11). Freseras' 6th position in the standings has not changed. 10 lost games are too many comparing to just four victories Freseras managed to get this year. von Oelhoffen is one of the most experienced players at Freseras and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 17.5ppg (#2). Her other stats are also decent: 5.3rpg and 3.7apg.

The third best performed player last round was American Yvonne Turner (179-G-1987) of second-ranked Adelitas de Chihuahua. Turner showcased her all-around game by recording 13 points, 11 rebounds (!!!) and 10 assists (!!!) in the last round. She was a key player of Adelitas, leading her team to a 93-81 win against #3 ranked Fuerza Regia in a game of the week. Adelitas needs these victories very badly if they think about taking over top position in the standings. Their record at this point is 11 victories and 3 lost games. Turner has a great season in Mexico. After only 9 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in assists with 5.9apg (best passer).
