Panteras looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Americans were the main players on the court. It was a great evening for forward Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis (180-1993, college: UConn) who led her team to a victory scoring 28 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Center Samantha Fuehring (191-1997, college: Louisville) helped adding 17 points and 11 rebounds. The best for the losing side was forward Liz Scott (188-2001, college: Oklahoma) with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds and point guard Britney Jones (174-1987, college: UAB) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 assists (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line). It was an exceptional evening for American swingman IimarI Thomas (178-2000, college: UCLA) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists. Her fellow American import guard Essence Booker (173-1999, college: UNLV) accounted for 27 points (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) for the winning side. El Calor's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Jamaican forward Christeina Bryan (190-2002, college: Seattle) came up with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 14 rebounds and Nigerian forward Ijeoma Uchendu (185-1992, college: Butler) added 11 points and 12 rebounds respectively for Santas in the defeat.
