Americans were the main players on the court. Four Halcones de Ciudad Obregon players scored in double figures. Forward Jordan Glynn (200-1989, college: SF Austin) came up with 20 points and 6 rebounds and Jericole Hellems (201-1999, college: NC State) added 18 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Toros in the defeat. They outrebounded Pioneros Los Mochis 47-28 including a 34-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. Frayles de Guasave looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists.
