American Forward Dominic Woodson (211-F-95, agency: Paris Global Sports) had a very impressive game in the last round for second-ranked Toros, receiving a Interperformances Player of the Week award for round 10.
The 22-year old player had a double-double of 37 points and 15 rebounds, while his team edged out Jass (#6, 3-7) 87-83. Toros is placed at 2nd position in Nicaraguan LSB. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Toros will need more victories to improve their 6-4 record. In the team's last game Woodson had a remarkable five three-pointers out of 8 attempts. He just recently signed at Toros, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Former University of Tennessee star has very solid stats this year. Woodson is in league's top in points (4th best: 22.4ppg) and averages impressive 2.0bpg.

The second best player in last round's games was ) of Costa Caribe. had a very good evening with 30 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists. Of course Costa Caribe cruised to a 92-83 relatively comfortable win over the higher-ranked Real Esteli (#1, 7-4). It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Costa Caribe consolidated its place in top 4 of the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 5-6 record. is one of the most experienced players at Costa Caribe and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 14.1ppg (#1). He also recorded 4.7 assists per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was another Costa Caribe's star - American center Kevin Briggs (213-C). Briggs scored 15 points and grabbed thirteen rebounds (!!!). He was another key player of Costa Caribe, helping his team with a 92-83 win against #1 ranked Real Esteli. The chances of Costa Caribe ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 6 games, recording just five victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Briggs could help Costa Caribe to bring them higher in the standings. Briggs has a great season in Nicaragua. After only 6 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 11.0rpg (6th best).

Other top performing players last week:
