Indigenas de Matagalpa celebrated Torneo Carlos Ulloa title. They beat San Isidro at home court on Wednesday to clinch the trophy. San Isidro was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Indigenas forced 20 San Isidro turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international Dayton Cacho (186-91) who helped to win the game recording 14 points, 7 assists and 4 steals and Raul Mendoza (190-87) who added 19 points (made all of his seven free throws) during the contest. Indigenas' coach Jjimmy Smith used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side point guard Francisco Garth (-99) responded with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international center Roger Munoz (208-84, college: Trinity Valley) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points, 10 rebounds and 5 blocks. Four Indigenas and five San Isidro players scored in double figures.
