Munoz is back at Leones

Leones de Managua (Torneo Carlos Ulloa) agreed terms with experienced 36-year old ex-international center Roger Munoz (208-98kg-84, college: Trinity Valley). It is actually his comeback to Leones as he has played here before. Munoz played this summer at San Isidro in the Torneo Carlos Ulloa. In 22 games he had 9.1ppg, 8.0rpg and 1.3apg. Munoz helped them to win the regular season and make it to the final.
Munoz was also a member of Nicaraguan international program for some years. He played for Nicaraguan Senior National Team between 2004 and 2017 and previously for U21 National Team in 2004.
Munoz represented Nicaragua at the Central American Games in Managua (Nicaragua) three years ago.
He has spent his entire career in Nicaragua playing for three other teams: Jaguares, Toros and Real Esteli.
He was selected to Nicaraguan LSB All-Star Game in 2019.
Munoz is close to retirement age as a player. It's very possible he may end his playing career at Leones.
Munoz attended Trinity Valley Community College until 2007 and it will be his 14th (!!!) season as a professional player.
