Christopher Gaston will join Leones in Nicaragua

Puerto Rican Power Forward Christopher Gaston (201-PF-89, college: Fordham) will join Leones de Managua this week and will complete the roster. He played with Atleticos de San German this year in his hometown Puerto Rico and last year he played with Real Esteli posting good numbers in 7 games: 14.7ppg, 8.3rpg, 3.0apg, 2FGP: 62.5%, 3FGP: 28.6%, FT: 79.4%.

He has proven to be a good scorer in the inside and a occasional three point shooter, he has played with , Maratonistas de Coamo, Indios de Mayaguez, Santeros de Aguada and Leones de Ponce where he posted his best numbers 13.3ppg, 7.3rpg, 3.3apg, 1.3spg, 1.0bpg, FGP: 55.6%, FT: 55.6%.

Also played in Uruguay with Goes Montevideo, in Poland with Asseco Gdynia U20 team, and in Israel with Hapoel Migdal Haemek where he posed strong numbers 29 games: 21.3ppg, 10.4rpg, 2.1apg, 1.4spg, 1.1bpg, 2FGP: 50.6%, FT: 78.7%.

He was called with Puerto RIcan National team for the Americup 3 games: 4.7ppg, 3.0rp and with world cup qualifiers 3 games: 4.0ppg, 3.7rpg, 1.0apg.
