There were many interesting games last round. The round ended with loss of the undefeated team, favorites losing the games and even winless team recording their first victory. Here is the last round review presented by ESL.
Rivas - Costa Caribe 70-61 Very important is a road loss of second ranked Costa Caribe (3-2) against ninth ranked Rivas (1-3) on Saturday night. Visiting Costa Caribe was defeated by Rivas in a tough game on the road 61-70. Worth to mention a great performance of center Troy Humphreys who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 15 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists and South African forward Pieter Prinsloo (208-92, college: Marist, agency: Promo Sport ID) who added 16 points and 14 rebounds during the contest. Five Rivas players scored in double figures. At the losing side Cuban Osmel Oliva (180-87) responded with 21 points, 8 assists and 5 steals and Joel Cubillas produced a double-double by scoring 17 points and 13 rebounds. Real Esteli shot the lights out from three sinking 17 long-distance shots on high 53.1 percentage. Puerto Rican swingman Alejandro Carmona (194-83) fired 17 points and 5 assists for the winners.
