Here is the last round review presented by ESL.

The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of Real Esteli (5-1) at the home court on Thursday night. Hosts were edged by third ranked Leon (4-1) 88-87. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Real Esteli. Leon looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Puerto Rican forward Luis Cuascut (196-98, college: PR-Bayamon) had a double-double by scoring 15 points and 15 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and American Chris Blake (195-88, college: Detroit) chipped in 16 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was Puerto Rican guard Jared Ruiz (188-92) with 31 points and 4 assists. Real Esteli's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Leon maintains third position with 4-1 record behind leader Real Esteli. Real Esteli at the other side still keeps top place with one game lost. Leon are looking forward to face league's second-placed Costa Caribe in Managua in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Real Esteli will play against Rivas and is hoping to win this game.
Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Managua: Costa Caribe (#2) and Leones (#5). Costa Caribe (5-2) won against visiting Leones (2-3) 66-58. Joel Cubillas notched a double-double by scoring 17 points and 16 rebounds to lead the effort and Osmel Oliva supported him with 13 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Even a double-double of 14 points and 12 rebounds by Puerto Rican Xavier Zambrana (193-91) did not help to save the game for Leones. Leones at the other side keep the fifth place with three games lost. They share the position with Jinotega. Costa Caribe will play against Leon (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Leones will play against Rivas and hope to get back on the winning track.

They stay at the bottom position with five games lost. Indigenas will meet higher ranked Leones (#5) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Chinandega will have a break next round.
