De la Rosa number one in Nicaragua for round 11

Dominican Rep. Forward Xavier de la Rosa (196-F-91) had an amazing evening in the last round for second-ranked Cacique D., receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 11.
The 30-year old player had a double-double of 43 points and 11 rebounds, while his team crushed Leon (#6, 3-3) with 19-point margin 108-89. Cacique D. maintains the 2nd position in Nicaraguan LSB. They would have been even better if they did not have these two lost games earlier in Regular Season. Cacique D. will need more victories to improve their 5-2 record. In the team's last game de la Rosa had a remarkable eight three-pointers out of 11 attempts. He turned to be Cacique D.'s top player in his first season with the team. Xavier de la Rosa has solid league stats. He is in league's top in points (2nd best: 27.8ppg) and averages impressive 3.5spg.

The second best player in last round's games was 28-year old Cuban Yuniskel Molina (183-SG-93) of Leon. Molina had a very good evening with a double-double of 31 points and 10 rebounds. Bad luck as Leon lost that game 89-108 to the higher-ranked Cacique D. (#2, 5-2). Leon managed to keep the same 6th spot in the standings. His team lost some distance to top teams. But 3-3 record is not bad and everything may still change. Molina is a newcomer at Leon, but is already one of team's top players.

Third on the list of top players last round was another Cacique D.'s star - forward Jeremy Agosto (F). Agosto showcased his all-around game by recording 18 points, twelve rebounds (!!!) and eight assists in the last round. He was another key player of Cacique D., helping his team with a 108-89 easy win against the lower-ranked Leon (#6, 3-3). Cacique D. needs these victories very badly if they think about taking over top position in the standings. Their record at this point is 5 victories and 2 lost games. Agosto has a great season in Nicaragua. After only 5 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 23.8ppg (5th best) and assists with 9.2apg (best passer).
