Jeremy Agosto
Forward Jeremy Agosto (F) had a very impressive game in the last round for top-ranked Cacique D., receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 15.
The player had a double-double of 28 points and 12 rebounds, while his team edged out Leones MGA (#4, 5-3) 78-77. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed Cacique D. to consolidate first place in the Nicaraguan LSB. They would have been even better if they did not have these two lost games earlier in Regular Season. Cacique D. has a very solid 7-2 record, but they cannot be too comfortable about keeping top position. Agosto turned to be Cacique D.'s top player in his first season with the team. Jeremy Agosto has solid league stats. He is in league's top in points (4th best: 25.4ppg).
The second best player in last round's games was 33-year old American Chris Blake (195-F-88) of Leones MGA. Blake had a very good evening with a double-double of 28 points and 10 rebounds. Bad luck as Leones MGA was edged by the higher-ranked Cacique D. (#1, 7-2) 78-77. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Leones MGA still maintains its place in the top 4 of the standings, even despite this loss. His team's 5-3 record is not bad at all. Blake is a newcomer at Leones MGA, but is already one of team's top players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 19.9ppg (#9). His other stats are also decent: 7.0rpg and 5.3apg.
Third on the list of top players last round was American center BJ Glasford (196-C-95, agency: Green Sports Management) of Rivas (#7). Glasford got into 30-points club by scoring 31 points in the last round. He went also for six rebounds and four assists. Despite Glasford's great performance Rivas lost 89-93 to the higher-ranked Real Esteli (#3, 7-3). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of Rivas ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 5 games, recording just four victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Glasford could help Rivas to bring them higher in the standings. Glasford has a great season in Nicaragua. After only 9 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 20.4ppg (8th best) and assists with 4.7apg (5th best). He also has 2.4spg and FGP: 53.6%.
Other top performing players last week:
4. Christian Lopez (183-PG-95) of Indigenas - 26 points, 4 rebounds and 8 assists

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
