Forward Jeremy Agosto (F) had an amazing evening in the last round for second-ranked Cacique D. and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 21.
He had a double-double of 29 points and 13 rebounds, while his team beat Rivas (#5, 8-7) 94-89. Cacique D. maintains the 2nd position in Nicaraguan league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Cacique D. will need more victories to improve their 10-5 record. Agosto turned to be Cacique D.'s top player in his first season with the team. Agosto has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (3rd best: 24.8ppg) and averages solid 2.4spg.
Second best performed player last round was Chris Blake (195-F-88) of Leones MGA. He is American forward in his first season at Leones MGA. In the last game Blake recorded impressive 28 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. Of course he led Leones MGA to another comfortable win 87-74 over the lower-ranked Tigres (#9, 1-13) being unquestionably team leader. Leones MGA's 6th position in the standings has not changed. His team lost some distance to top teams. But 7-6 record is not bad and everything may still change. Blake is a newcomer at Leones MGA and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 20.8ppg (#9). His other stats are also decent: 7.8rpg and 6.0apg.
Third place about best performers goes to another Cacique D.'s star - forward Xavier de la Rosa (196-F-91). de la Rosa got into 30-points club by scoring exactly 30 points in the last round. He went also for sixteen rebounds and six assists. He was another key player of Cacique D., helping his team with a 94-89 win against the lower-ranked Rivas (#5, 8-7). Cacique D. needs these victories very badly if they think about taking over top position in the standings. Their record at this point is 10 victories and 5 lost games. de la Rosa has a great season in Nicaragua. After 14 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 28.7ppg (2nd best).

The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
