D'Asia Chambers (ex Launceston T.) joins Real Esteli

D'Asia Chambers

Real Esteli (LSBF) agreed terms with 29-year old American swingman D'Asia Chambers (182cm-92, college: Slippery Rock). Chambers played last summer at Launceston Tornadoes in Australian NBL1 South. In 14 games she had 7.2ppg, 3.9rpg, 2.5apg and 1.1spg.
She is quite experienced player. Chambers' career allowed her to visit three different continents, while she played in five different countries. Chambers tasted the life as pro basketball player in Europe, Africa and of course North America. She has played previously professionally in Finland (Kouvottaret), Germany (Rotenburg/Scheessel and Fireballs), Luxembourg (Musel Pikes), Egypt (Sporting) and Czech Republic (SBS Ostrava).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others her team won Egyptian Cup in 2020. Chambers was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Luxembourg League Honorable Mention in 2019.
She attended Slippery Rock University until 2015 and it will be her eighth season as a professional player.
