Best players of Nicaraguan LSB round 26 (by Hoops Agents)- October 15, 2021
The 33-year old forward got a double-double of 23 points and ten assists, while his team beat Real Esteli (#3, 12-7) 90-81. Leones MGA maintains the 7th position in Nicaraguan LSB. Leones MGA is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 9-8 record. Blake turned to be Leones MGA's top player in his first season with the team. University of Detroit Mercy graduate has very impressive stats this year. Blake is in league's top in points (5th best: 23.5ppg), assists (3rd best: 5.9apg) and averages solid 3.2spg and 51.0% FGP. The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was forward Ronald Lawton (F) of Ingenieria. Lawton impressed basketball fans with 28 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Bad luck as Ingenieria was edged by the lower-ranked Tigres (#8, 3-16) 70-67. Ingenieria managed to keep the same 4th spot in the standings. His team's 11-8 record is not bad at all. Lawton is a newcomer at Ingenieria and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 22.2ppg (#8). His other stats are also decent: 9.2rpg and 3.5apg. The third best performed player last round was Moses Malone (G-86) of Tigres (#8). Malone showcased his all-around game by recording 15 points, fifteen rebounds (!!!) and eight assists in the last round. He was a key player of Tigres, leading his team to a 70-67 win against the higher-ranked Ingenieria (#4, 11-8). Tigres can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 3-16 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Malone has a very solid season. In 16 games in Nicaragua he scored 6.5ppg. He also has 3.7apg and 2.1spg.
