Indigenas - Brumas 72-120

Brumas knocked down Indigenas to sweep the series. Brumas fired past Indigenas Brumas dominated down low during the game scoring 78 of its points in the paint compared to Indigenas' 38. Brumas forced 25 Indigenas turnovers and outrebounded them 53-31 including a 33-21 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 30 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by Indigenas' players. American Timothy Simmons (195-92, college: DBU) orchestrated the victory with a triple-double by scoring 25 points, 10 rebounds, 12 assists and 6 steals. The other American import center Leon Hampton (213-95, college: Stillman) contributed with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 16 rebounds for the winners. Hampton is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Five Brumas players scored in double figures. Dominican center Teodoro Romero replied with 27 points and 6 rebounds and American James Edmond Jr (205-91, college: Lincoln, MO) added 19 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!) in the effort for Indigenas. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.

Rivas held off Leones MGA to win the series. Rivas forced 20 Leones MGA turnovers. 27 personal fouls committed by Leones MGA helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The game was dominated by American players. The best player for the winners was Quentin Davis (199, college: Mendocino CC) who had a double-double by scoring 25 points and 12 rebounds. Center BJ Glasford (196-95, college: Stetson, agency: Green Sports Management) chipped in 26 points and 7 rebounds. Four Rivas players scored in double figures. Forward Jeremy Agosto had a triple-double by scoring 32 points, 15 rebounds and 13 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Dominican forward Xavier de la Rosa (196-91) chipped in 27 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Cuban Oreste Torres (204-87) responded with a double-double by scoring 31 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists and Cuban Yuniskel Molina (183-93) scored 20 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
