The game between Top Four teams took place in Jinotega. 3rd ranked host Brumas (14-7) lost to first ranked Real Esteli (20-1) 99-94. Puerto Rican guard Ismael Cruz (190-2001, college: Indian Hills) had a double-double by scoring 25 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Puerto Rican guard Jezreel De Jesus (185-1991, agency: Interperformances) chipped in 27 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. At the losing side Cuban center Marvin Cairo (203-1991) responded with 32 points and 7 rebounds. Real Esteli have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 20-1 record. Brumas at the other side keep the third place with seven games lost.
Bottom-ranked Rivas managed to get a third victory, breaking the seven-game losing streak. This time they won against fifth-ranked Leones MGA 84-77. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Leones MGA. Cuban Yosniel Morales (196-1987) notched a double-double by scoring 10 points and 20 rebounds to lead the effort and Telvin Gabriel supported him with 20 points and 8 rebounds. Even 38 points (!!!), 5 rebounds and 4 assists by Puerto Rican point guard Luis Gonzalez (183-1997, college: PR-Bayamon) did not help to save the game for Leones MGA. Rivas maintains tenth position with 3-17 record. Leones MGA at the other side keeps the fifth place with nine games lost.

Ismael Cruz fired 33 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds for the winners. Deikel Sanchez produced a double-double by scoring 22 points and 14 rebounds for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Real Esteli have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 20-1 record. Loser Occidentales dropped to the eighth place with 16 games lost. They share the position with Indigenas.

In the last two games of round 22 Indigenas was destroyed by Caribbean Coast on the opponent's court 97-64. UNI Basket unfortunately lost to Caribbean Coast in a home game 68-81.
The most impressive stats of the last round was 12 points, 15 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals by Christian Negron of Caribbean Coast.

Rather expected game in Managua where 8th ranked Indigenas (4-16) were crushed by sixth ranked Caribbean Coast (10-9) 97-64 on Sunday. Caribbean Coast forced 19 Indigenas turnovers and outrebounded them 50-30 including a 31-19 advantage in offensive rebounds. Caribbean Coast looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Puerto Rican guard Luis Lopez (182-1998, college: PR-Mayaguez) fired a double-double by scoring 43 points (!!!), 7 rebounds and 13 assists for the winners. Puerto Rican forward Christian Negron (201-1998, college: GVSU) chipped in a double-double by scoring 26 points and 15 rebounds (on 12-of-15 shooting from the field). American guard Chris Moten (190-1989, college: LA Pierce JC) produced 35 points (!!!) and Dominican power forward Teodoro Romero (202-1990) added 11 points and 9 rebounds respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Caribbean Coast maintains sixth position with 10-9 record. Indigenas lost third consecutive game. They keep the eighth place with 16 games lost. They share the position with Occidentales.

There was a small surprise when sixth ranked Caribbean Coast (10-9) defeated on the road 4th ranked UNI Basket (12-9) 81-68 on Friday. They outrebounded UNI Basket 61-46 including 45 on the offensive glass. Caribbean Coast looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by UNI Basket's players. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Caribbean Coast made 7 blocks. Puerto Rican guard Luis Lopez (182-1998, college: PR-Mayaguez) fired a double-double by scoring 16 points, 5 rebounds, 12 assists and 4 steals for the winners.
