Antonio Ralat
Guard Antonio Ralat (188-G) put on an amazing game in the last round for Leon and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 27.
He had the game-high 30 points adding four rebounds and three assists for Leon in his team's victory, helping them to crush Rivas (#10, 3-20) with 16-point margin 86-70. Leon maintains the 7th position in Nicaraguan league. Leon is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 10-13 record. In the team's last game Ralat had a remarkable 62.5% from 2-point range. He turned to be Leon's top player in his first season with the team. Antonio Ralat averages this season 22.3ppg and 8.1rpg.
Second best performed player last round was Yosniel Morales (196-PF-1987) of Rivas. He is Cuban forward in his first season at Rivas. In the last game Morales recorded impressive double-double of 23 points and 13 rebounds. Bad luck as Rivas lost that game 70-86 to the higher-ranked Leon (#7, 10-13). Rivas are still at the very bottom. 20 lost games are too many comparing to just three victories Rivas managed to get this year. Morales is a newcomer at Rivas and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.
Third place about best performers goes to guard Deikel Sanchez (G) of Occidentales (#9). Sanchez scored 21 points and grabbed ten rebounds. Despite Sanchez's great performance Occidentales lost 62-98 to the higher-ranked Brumas (#2, 17-7). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. Occidentales can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. Sanchez has individually a great season in Nicaragua. After 24 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 20.5ppg (8th best). He also has 2.0bpg and FGP: 55.0%.

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
