Leones MGA outrebounded Occidentales 54-25 including a 39-18 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 34 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Josmel Martinez (198, college: Broward CC) who helped to win the game recording a triple-double by scoring 32 points, 19 rebounds and 10 assists. Colombian center Chyse Webster (204-2000) contributed with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 16 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Four Leones MGA players scored in double figures. Puerto Rican-American guard Robert Nieves (188-1999, college: Graceland) answered with 35 points (!!!) and 4 assists and guard Deikel Sanchez added 16 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Occidentales. Leones MGA maintains sixth place with 13-13 record. Occidentales lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the ninth position with 21 games lost.
