Real Esteli - Indigenas 115-68

Real Esteli dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Indigenas' 34. They outrebounded Indigenas 60-37 including a 45-27 advantage in offensive rebounds. Real Esteli looked well-organized offensively handing out 34 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Indigenas' players. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Real Esteli made 11 blocks. The former international guard Jared Ruiz (188-1992) stepped up and scored 20 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners and Puerto Rican guard Ismael Cruz (190-2001, college: Indian Hills) chipped in 23 points and 4 assists. Four Real Esteli players scored in double figures. At the losing side power forward Elgin Mejia responded with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds and American guard Chris Moten (190-1989, college: LA Pierce JC) scored 15 points and 6 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
