Caribbean Coast - Brumas 92-90

Caribbean Coast held off Brumas to force the decider. Caribbean Coast made 19-of-23 charity shots (82.6 percent) during the game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. Brumas were plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of Jorge Gonzalez who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 24 points, 12 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals. Puerto Rican guard Luis Lopez (182-1998, college: PR-Mayaguez) contributed with 30 points and 6 assists for the winners. Four Caribbean Coast players scored in double figures. Cuban center Marvin Cairo (203-1991) replied with a double-double by scoring 36 points (!!!) and 15 rebounds and Dominican Xavier de la Rosa (196-1991) added 21 points and 7 assists in the effort for Brumas.

Jaguares topped Real Esteli to send the series into Game 5. American center Leon Hampton (213-1995, college: Stillman) fired a double-double by scoring 10 points and 19 rebounds for the winners. Guard Kaleb Myers (-2004) chipped in a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds. Hampton is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Five Jaguares players scored in double figures. The former international guard Jared Ruiz (188-1992) produced 16 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international swingman Francisco Garth (195-1999) added 9 points and 9 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.
