San Judas add Watson to their roster

San-Judas (TBN) added to their roster experienced 40-year old ex-international power forward Troy Watson (197cm-1982) for new 2023 season. Watson played last summer at UNI Basket in Nicaraguan LSB league. In 6 games he recorded 11.0ppg and 5.3rpg. TBN will be definitely a better match and he can see more playing time. He also played for Ingenieria (LSB) where in 6 games he averaged 11.0ppg and 5.2rpg. Watson was a member of Nicaraguan Senior National Team between 2004 and 2013.
He has played also professionally in Argentina, Nicaragua (Jaguares, Tiburones, Pumas, Fupade Coast and Vikingos de Valentis Pizza) and El Salvador (Roll Royce). Watson won Nicaraguan Liga Premier championship title in 2008 and 2016.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he was voted to Latinbasket.com All-Nicaraguan LSB Honorable Mention back in 2018.
He is close to retirement age as a player. It's very possible he may end his playing career at San Judas.
On Watson: A very quick frontcourt player, with good athletic skills and scoring abilities.
