Jaguares land D'Asia Chambers, ex Freseras

D'Asia Chambers

Jaguares UAM Managua (LSBF) tabbed 31-year old American 182cm swingman D'Asia Chambers (college: Slippery Rock). Chambers played this summer at Freseras in Mexican LNBPF, but left the team in May. In 5 games just recently she averaged 6.4ppg, 3.0rpg and 1.8apg.
She is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball she experienced life in eight different countries playing on five different continents. Chambers is familiar with European, Latin American, Australian, African and of course North American leagues. She has played previously professionally in Australia (Tornadoes), Finland (Kouvottaret), Germany (Rotenburg/Scheessel and Fireballs), Kosovo (Bashkimi), Luxembourg (Musel Pikes), Egypt (Sporting), Czech Republic (SBS Ostrava) and Nicaragua (Real Esteli).
Among many awards her team won Kosovo Cup in 2022. Chambers was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Liga Unike 2nd Team in 2022.
She graduated from Slippery Rock University in 2015 and it will be her tenth season in pro basketball. Chambers played also for St. Bonaventure University for one year.
