Jaguares land Jessica Fairweather, ex Mexcaltecas

Jessica Fairweather

Jaguares UAM Managua (LSBF) tabbed experienced 34-year old American 180cm swingman Jessica Fairweather (college: Queens, NY). Fairweather played this summer at Mexcaltecas in Mexican LMBPF. In 6 games just recently she averaged 12.7ppg, 5.7rpg, 2.0apg, 1.8spg and 1.0bpg. The last season she played at Rockets (Division 1) in Irish league. She helped them to end the regular season as a second best team in Division. They also played in the Cup final. They also advanced to the league semifinals.
Fairweather is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball she experienced life in six different countries playing on three different continents. She is familiar with European, Latin American and of course North American leagues. Fairweather has played previously professionally in Puerto Rico (Leonas and Moca), WUBA (Southern Lady Generals), WABA (Expressions), Dominican Republic (Fenix) and Nicaragua (Universidad Nacional de Ingenieria). She won WABA championship title in 2018 and 2019.
Fairweather graduated from Queens College in 2011 and it will be her 14th (hopefully lucky) (!!!) season in pro basketball.
