Tigres - Caribbean Coast 77-100 The game in supposed to be also worth to mention about. Second ranked Caribbean Coast (5-1) played at the court of 8th ranked Tigres (1-4). Caribbean Coast smashed Tigres 100-77. Caribbean Coast had a 27-15 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of Puerto Rican guard Luis Lopez (182-1998, college: PR-Mayaguez) who helped to win the game recording 44 points (!!!), 5 rebounds and 6 assists and Puerto Rican power forward Owens Perez (206-1992) who added 23 points and 13 rebounds during the contest. Jose Perez (-1999) responded with 28 points and 6 rebounds and American power forward Lorenzo Martinez (203-1997, college: Southwestern, KS) scored 13 points and 7 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Caribbean Coast keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Leon. Tigres at the other side keep the eighth place with four games lost. They share the position with Indigenas. They used home court advantage to defeat Jaguares (2-2) 90-86 on Sunday. Strangely Jaguares outrebounded Indigenas 46-33 including 27 on the offensive glass. American guard Tylan Dean (185-1999, college: Rogers St.) orchestrated the victory by scoring 30 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals. Canadian swingman Zekiah Owens (197-1998, college: AIC) contributed with a double-double by scoring 27 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Puerto Rican power forward Carlos Lopez-Sosa (209-1990, college: UNLV) replied with a triple-double by scoring 13 points, 15 rebounds and 11 assists and Cuban forward Yasmany Fundora (201-1992) added 26 points and 12 rebounds in the effort for Jaguares. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Jaguares' coach Felix Selva tried various players' combinations and tested in total twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. It was the only win of host team this round and in all other games visitors recorded victories. Indigenas (1-4) left bottom position moving up to eighth place, which they share with Tigres. Jaguares at the other side keep the seventh position with two games lost.
