LSBF Round 6: Leonas hand first defeat to Jaguares

Jaguares (6-1) recorded its first loss on the court of fifth ranked Leonas on Friday night. Visitors were edged by Leonas 69-68. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Jaguares. Leonas forced 21 Jaguares turnovers. The best player for the winners was American guard Jocelyn Taylor (183-1997, college: SEMO) who scored 27 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. The other American import guard Jessica Marino (-2000) chipped in 18 points and 8 rebounds. Leonas' coach used entire bench in such tough game. At the other side the best for losing team was American swingman DAsia Chambers (182-1992, college: Slippery Rock) who recorded a double-double by scoring 24 points, 17 rebounds and 4 assists. Leonas maintains fifth position with 2-6 record. Jaguares at the other side still keep top place with one game lost.
