Canadian guard Tiffany Reynolds (175, college: Lakehead) chipped in 29 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was American swingman DAsia Chambers (182-1992, college: Slippery Rock) who recorded 18 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Jaguares' coach gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Tipitapa (6-4) have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain third place behind leader Jaguares. Jaguares at the other side still keep top position with three games lost. Tipitapa are looking forward to face bottom-ranked UNI (#5) in the next round. Jaguares will play against the league's second-placed Real Esteli (#2) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Bottom-ranked Leonas managed to get a third victory. This time they outleveled fourth-ranked UNI 67-43. It's especially surprising that the victory came too easily and 24-point difference proves that Leonas was well-prepared to that game. It was a good game for American guard Jocelyn Taylor (183-1997, college: SEMO) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 13 rebounds. Jessica Martino contributed with 12 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Syesha Colomer answered with 8 points and 9 rebounds for UNI. Leonas (3-7) moved-up to fourth place. UNI lost their fourth game in a row. They dropped to the bottom position with seven games lost. Leonas will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. UNI will play against Tipitapa (#3) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
