The most important game in the last round took place in Jinotega between second ranked Leon (8-4) and fourth ranked Brumas (8-3) on Sunday night. Leon was crushed by Brumas on the road 58-77. It was a key game for the second position in the league. Brumas outrebounded Leon 47-30 including 32 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Leon's players. American Timothy Simmons (195-1992, college: DBU) orchestrated the victory by scoring 9 points, 11 rebounds and 9 assists. The other American import power forward Amir Warnock (206-1995, college: KWC) contributed with 12 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. Guard Deikel Sanchez (-1996) replied with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds for Leon. Brumas have an impressive five-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place. Leon at the other side dropped to the third position with four games lost. They share it with Caribbean Coast. In the last two games of round 14 Rivas was beaten by Caribbean Coast on the road 77-61. UNI Basket lost to Indigenas on its own court 78-83. The most impressive performance of 14th round was 29 points and 14 rebounds by Zekiah Owens of Indigenas.

Caribbean Coast forced 23 Rivas turnovers. Puerto Rican guard Luis Lopez (182-1998, college: PR-Mayaguez) orchestrated the victory by scoring 28 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Swingman Jorge Gonzalez (198-1995) contributed with 21 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals for the winners.
